Oliver A Pitfield 1809-1880

Oliver A. Pitfield seems to have turned his back on the Loyalist cause, settling in New Orleans, America and naming some of his children after American States and heroes of the American Revolution. Oliver was a steam ship captain and fought in the Confederate Navy during the American Civil War.
